Kirstin Mills is perhaps best known for her imaginative, detailed and emotive paintings of fairies, mermaids, dragons and fantasy subjects. The majority of her paintings, from her miniature dragons to her fairies, nature spirits and even mermaids, portray slight magical intrusions into an otherwise normal world, inviting the viewer to look beyond the every day and see the magic that Kirstin feels exists all around us. 'If only one other person walks out into the world and instead of seeing a dry, desolate place, sees somewhere that fairies or goblins could possibly exist, then my work is done' she says.
