As well as her art and writing, Kirstin enjoys designing and has many design projects underway. As well as designing all of the websites associated with The Magical World of Kirstin Mills, Kirstin has worked on website design and various company commissions for many clients. Another continuous design project is her unique lines of giftware and merchandise inspired by her own artworks that she offers throught her online stores (links to the left). While Kirstin enjoys designing for her own ranges, one of her biggest design projects was the innovative and unique Fairy Inspirations series. A series of collectible CDs featuring relaxation music inspired by and designed to capture the essence of many of the world's most beloved fairy and fantasy artworks, Fairy Inspirations is a totally new way to experience art. Kirstin has always enjoyed music, but it wasn't until her partner, talented Australian musician and composer Ash Morse, began composing relaxation tracks for prestigious hypnotherapy associations in Australia that Kirstin had the idea for a unique blend of art and music. She approached Ash with her idea and together, they set about composing and creating the first track in the series 'Above the Canopy', inspired by Kirstin's own popular painting 'Morning Gossip'. The track was so beautiful and so perfectly captured the essence of the beautiful artwork, that Kirstin was convinced of the necessity for this kind of artistic collaboration. The next artist signed was the US's Judy Mastrangelo and the series continues to grow. As well as the initial concept design, Kirstin also designs the entire CD package, which includes stunningly printed artwork on the CD and CD cover, as well as an artist biography, information about the series and a message from the arist themselves.
